Old man goes home

Mention of the word 'auto' reminds me that it was eventually time to pack our plants in cars and return them to our greenhouses. Jack Bramhill used to wrap his tall cereus-type plants in bubble wrap but I had none. My solution for the short journey home is illustrated on the left. Did it work? Well yes, but a tilt on the roundabout reminded me that Cephalocereus has spikes inside those hairs. Perhaps I should get some bubble-wrap. Or at least wear a thick jumper!
