Adenium is in the Apocynaceae family (not to be confused with Adenia from the passion flower family). Related plants are Oleanders and periwinkles and the stem succulents Pachypodium and Plumeria. Adeniums come from tropical Africa and Arabia so need to be kept warm in winter.
