The branch favourite

Giant plants are great to see at shows but Northants members enjoy plants they can relate to. It is no good having a huge Euphorbia if it fills a quarter of your greenhouse.

A straw poll suggested that this Pseudolithos cubiformis was our favourite 'other succulent' at the Show.

Pseudolithos cubiformis

These are still rare plants in Northants Country as they are in habitat in Somalia. Some of us remember the excitement of seeing our first live one at the Oxford National sixteen years ago and that was just a seedling compared to this two-header.

Cultivation? Well, perhaps the National journal may tell us in the future. In the mean time keep it warm!
